Si richiede agli artisti che intendono partecipare alla collettiva un'opera di misura max 30 x 40 su tela o su qualsiasi supporto max un'opera per artista,il tema è "PAOLO BORSELLINO",le seguenti opere saranno vendute è il ricavato andrà totalmente all'artista e il 5 % per le spese dell'organizzazione della mostra...

The inauguration of Ottograph’s show will be held on the 1st of July 2010 from 17:30 till 21:00 with special guest DJ Pablo Selecta who will play a live set of ambient slow grooves to a wave of electro sounds.

A unique live painting appearance on the inernational art circus in Basel .

As a gallery specialising in Urban Art and Street Art since almost 10 years Circleculture is preparing an impact on this years Basel Art Fairs.

Six artists will overtake a huge wall on the backsideof the industrial fair site situated directly on abandoned railwaytracks.

An urban surrounding which remindins the spirit of graffiticulture, the beatniks and the drifters, travelling artists and streetphilosophers.

The artists will be painting and installing ongoingduring the first and second day of the fair as well as partially untilthe last day.

Being an official highlight of the Volta Basel Art Fair 2010 this appearance will innovate the boundaries of the traditionalfair booth presentation and deliver to the public a hard to get liveexperience with some of the most talented urban artists in Europe.

Hello all, hoping this finds you well.
Summertime here in NYC is a good time, though we're shipping out to Portugal in a few weeks and wanted to pass on a quick update.
Tomorrow / Today (June 15th at 12:00pm EDT, Noon in New York) we are releasing one of the last in the series of Lost in Glimmering Shadows images via http://www.PaperMonster.net This is a larger edition print of 175, based off an original we loved and felt best honored the end of the series. 12 colors – hand painted and printed right here in the studio. It's a beauty.
Beyond this, we are holding onto last smaller edition in the series.

Though there is no date scheduled for release as we are moving into the new images we've been working on this year. We'll keep you posted as plans emerge.
Also coming up next month is the PortugalArte10 Exhibition. This will be the realization of almost 2 years worth of work to create the Faile Temple; a large-scale sculpture project that emblematizes the iconography of Faile.

STICK ON HARING : Forma ! bio

Ho cominciato a disegnare prestissimo, la mia prima passione il fumetto, poi il disegno tecnico, seguito dal diploma di Geometra (con apertura del relativo studio tecnico ad Empoli).

Solo nel 1997 ho cominciato a usare gli spray (aerosol art/graffiti) e oggi dipingo in quasi tutte le regioni d’Italia, in Spagna in Francia, in Croazia, anche su commissione di privati ed Enti Locali.

Da qualche anno faccio parte dell’associazione culturale Virùz, che si prefigge di incentivare l’attività culturale nella nostra zona con varie iniziative a volte legate anche alla pittura ed ai graffiti.

Nel 2005, ho vinto un concorso indetto dalla Quadrifoglio spa di Firenze sul tema della raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti ed ho ottenuto la possibilità di dipingere una parete esterna della ditta grande circa 40 mq.

Il comune di Scandicci mi ha fatto dipingere le pareti esterne del nuovo Informagiovani nella centralissima Piazza del Mercato.

Nel 2006 sono arrivato primo al concorso di murales indetto dall’associazione Aliart con il Comune di Massa Marittima.

HERAKUT solo show

German artists Hera and Akut have been operating under the name of ‘Herakut’ since 2004,when they began producing collaborative pieces in the burgeoning urban art scene.

The visual and textual content of their work is an insightful expression of their generation’s mental state.

Much of their subject matter involves narrative and character studies involving multilayered textual explorations. herakut are masters of creating independent, self-contained worlds full of melancholy and profound humor.

And in doing so, they see themselves as a part of an overall cultural movement, without any artistic barriers between a wide array of mediums, be it drawing, text, music or film. Through the strength of their work, coupled with the demand for their style, herakut have moved beyond producing strictly “street art”, and are now regarded as some of the most exciting contemporary artists of our time.

Yet they have maintained the respect of the street art community, and they reciprocate that respect by continuing to create with spray cans, even as their artistic sphere of operation has grown to include interior spaces.

Herakut’s figurative and oftentimes photo-realistic paintings evolve out of a mixing technique on several image carriers, combining canvas, wood and/or paper.

They also create collages and large scale, room filling installations.
The art exhibit features 20+ new canvas paintings, wood pieces, sculptures and additional installations, showcasing herakut’s unique, intensely original output.

Project ASA - Amsterdam

Project Amsterdam Street Art (Project ASA) is a young organisation with creative artists and entrepreneurs, who have a passion for Street Art.

Our goal is to set up an annual recurrent event and that it will become recognized in the European street art scene. During the second week of June (8-12 June) we organise our first event.

Happenings such as exhibition openings, paint jams and afterparties are taking place within a period of five days. Locations are: Bobs Youth Hostel, Bep Gallery, Outland Records Gallery, De Duivel, The Thought Gallery, GO Gallery and afterparties at Sugar Factory (Hells Kitchen) and Flexbar (Undercover).
Artists who will be invading Amsterdam are coming all the way from countries such as Canada, Italy, England and of course The Netherlands itself.

We are very proud to have the following artists at our first event: The London Police, Hugo Kaagman, Pez, Ives.One, Galo, Flying Fortress, K74, NOL, Fake, Farkfk, Recall One, Orticanoodles, Faunagraphic, Bue The Warrior, Chase and Indigo.

We would not be surprised if the invited artists will leave their trademark outside on the streets in Amsterdam.

Omino71 is an anonymous Italian artist… or maybe he’s just a poscapen’s fan.

He works with poscapens, mosaics, acrylic paintings, photography, spraycans, posters, stickers, stencils, flyers.

He plays with rubikcubes, postpunk, arcade games, scooters, skateboards, comics, sneakers, b-movies, popart.
Omino71 si risveglia a Roma in una fredda notte di inizio millennio con un poscapen in mano.

Da quella notte non c''e' spazio libero su cui non abbia lasciato il suo segno ispirato ai piu' svariati culti adolescenziali (post punk, retro gaming, scooterism, comics, sneaker, b-movie) che tradiscono l'origine del suo nome (piccolo-uomo-bambino).

Le sue icone colorate vengono riprodotte con un approccio che, per tecnica e connotazioni culturali, si riconosce nelle c.d. tendenze "post-graffiti", dosando le forme tipiche della "street art" (sticker, stencil, spray, poster, pixel, etc) con le discipline convenzionali della "comunicazione di massa" (pittura, mosaico, fotografia, grafica, illustrazione, etc), nella ricerca di un sempre maggior confronto con esperienze ed artisti legati alle c.d. "arti maggiori" e non solo al gusto dei "graffiti".
