Elfo´s extreme freedom becomes an extremely original process of research, in which the expressive meta-language makes his activity difficult to classify in a single category.
Street-art was born by Graffiti, but the marginal diversions of the young artists make Street-art a wide pot with undefined borders, always changing. The wall is no more the "canvas" on which they draw codes and places of urban culture, but it becomes part of the work, thanks to an original contamination with land-art and concept-art. In this creative stream are not involved only degraded urban contests, but also people, animals and stuff, in which the final work can be the performance, the photographic report or the poly-material installing legacy. References to Surrealism, such as the gap between objects and their meaning, are mixed with this smart work in a strong awareness of reality.
